Wildbird Recovery’s – Oh, Baby Birds! Spring Fundraiser
You are invited to join Wildbird Recovery’s – Oh, Baby Birds! Spring Fundraiser and Spring Volunteer Day as we raise funds for our 24th baby bird season and celebrate Earth Day by volunteering at Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy. Last year, over 200 hatchlings, nestlings, fledglings or juvenile birds were admitted just during baby season costing almost $10,000 to feed! Despite popular belief, in nature, baby bird season at a wildlife center does not end when Spring is over. We sometimes admit babies from March all the way to October!
Wildbird Recovery’s – Oh, Baby Birds! Spring Fundraiser kicks off on Sunday, March 17, 2024 and concludes on Sunday, April 21, 2024 with our Spring Volunteer Day at Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy in southern Butler County, Pennsylvania. The Oh, Baby Birds! Spring Fundraiser is a virtual fundraiser where our supporters are able to choose number(s) from 1 to 71. The number(s) selected represents the desired monetary gift amount. Number 1 would represent a $1 donation where number 71 represents a $71 donation. Numbers are on a first come, first served basis. Our goal is to have every number claimed by April 21, 2024! Thank you so much for helping to spread the word with family, friends, and co-workers.
For each Oh, Baby Birds! Spring Fundraiser supporter, we will be adding your name to a paper bird cut-out that will be displayed in our Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy education classroom wall. You are welcome to have the name be in memory or in honor of a loved one. Also, you will be receiving tickets (1 ticket for every $5 donation) towards a chance to win 1 of 3 raffle baskets (TBD in March 2024). The winners will be announced Live on Social Media during our Spring Volunteer Day at Stormy Oaks Nature Conservancy.
